Sudixya is the small daughter of Dinesh and Sushila. She has two brothers Dipesh and Ashis. The parents are very poor and for the past few years Dinesh, the father has, like so many Nepalese young men, been working on a rotten contract in Malaysia that does not enable him to send much money home.
The family is well known to Alain who regularly brings clothes and toys for the children. They just about managed to survive with the help of neighbours.The three children were attending school until the recent earthquakes, when their small house collapsed.
The whole family is now living under tarpaulin. As there was no money to send the two youngest anymore, only the eldest boy was going to school. Sudixya is now studying at Namo Buddha School.
